Burna Boy, a Nigerian singer, claimed to have spent almost $332 million on his customized Lamborghini Urus, which he had shipped to the country.
To commemorate a successful 2021, the artist purchased a special Novitec-tuned Lamborghini Urus in January.
Burna Boy drove his Lamborghini Urus for the first time shortly after receiving the fancy SUV.
It comes amid accusations that he is the “highest-paid performer in the history of African music.”
Burna Boy, the “highest-paid artist in African music history,” has claimed that buying and shipping his Lamborghini Urus SUV to Nigeria cost him over $800,000.
Burna Boy’s Lamborghini was valued at around 330 million at the official rate of 415 million, and around 450 million at the average parallel market rate of 560 million.
In a video shared with his Instagram followers, the Grammy Award-winning performer, born Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu, disclosed the value of his latest supercar.
Remember that the artist took his time after receiving the SUV earlier this month? Burna Boy purchased the bespoke Lamborghini earlier this year to commemorate his 2021 achievement.
Burna Boy said while announcing the purchase of his new Lamborghini Urus Novitec version for 2022,
“Damini, Merry Christmas and a Prosperous New Year. You have God’s love, your family’s love, and my love for you. You didn’t have any other options.
“The Novitec edition of 2022. “The newest addition to the Lamborghini family.”
The 782-horsepower Lamborghini Super SUV, which is driven by a 6.6-liter twin-turbocharged V-12 engine, can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 3.3 seconds before topping out at 194 mph.
Burna Boy’s garage houses multiple premium vehicles, including a Novitec-tuned Lamborghini Urus SUV. The singer also owns a crimson Rolls-Royce Dawn, which he purchased three years ago to commemorate a successful 2019.
