Quavo and Takeoff Decide Between Nicki Minaj and Cardi B On "Drink Champs"

The appearance of Kanye West on Drink Champs didn’t go as planned and was ultimately deleted from the show’s YouTube channel, but DJ EFN and N.O.R.E. are following up their contentious interview with an appearance from Quavo and Takeoff, who just released their collaborative album Only Built For Infinity Links.

The episode, which debuted on Friday (October 21), features two-thirds of the Migos talking about a wide range of subjects for almost two and a half hours, including what it would take for Unc and ‘Phew to get back together with Offset and who they would choose between Cardi B and Nicki Minaj, both of whom they previously collaborated with on 2018’s “MotorSport.”

Regarding the former, Takeoff stated that he wouldn’t be against performing on stage once more with the father of five children for a Verzuz tournament, but only if “the check right.”

Quavo stated at about the same time (about the 14:30 mark) that since Migos was initially created when Offset was in jail, the change from a trio to a duo wasn’t tough. That’s how we began, Huncho informed the audience.

When we entered, he was locked up. We simply made careful to inform the public that there were three [Migos] while maintaining his identity.

Quavo responded,

“I’ll say Nicki,” after some awkward laughing broke out when the hosts asked the “HOTEL LOBBY” rappers who they would choose out of the two “Queens of Rap.”

Fans were puzzled by Takeoff’s subsequent statement, “I was going to say the same thing,” given that Cardi is married to and even has two children with the third member of the group.
