The President elect Joe Biden is presently the certified President of the United States of America. January the 20th this month he will be sworn in as the 46th president of the United States of America   after a lengthy fight with Donald Trump who believed and argued that the election was manipulated in favor of his rivals.

The Covid-19 pandemic has resulted in a whole lot of people to lose their jobs and due to the lockdown imposed by the government on its nationals in other to prevent the spread of the virus, the government of the United States provides about $600 for every legal citizen of the country to settle with their bills throughout the months of this incident.

The president elect Joe Biden believes that the sum of money may be too little when it comes to spending money on  rent or putting food on the table. Here is what he said in a Twitter post as I quote him below

“$600 is simply not enough when you have to choose between paying rent or putting food on the table”.

The president elect also intends to rise the money provided to his citizens to about $2,000 so that it will be much more easier for the people  to pay their bills during this lockdown and also afford to buy the  normal valuables as a citizen due to the pandemic.
