A day old infant kid who was deserted by the mother has been saved by agents of the Lagos State Police Command on Monday, March 15.

The child was found by a decent Lagosian at Oladejo Street, Oko Oba Lagos on Monday at 10:20pm who informed the police agents appended to Abattoir Division of the order. The cops immediately hustled to the scene and got the child for crucial clinical consideration and security.

The Commissioner of Police Lagos State, CP Hakeem Odumosu got the infant in his ikeja office on Tuesday, March 16, and has requested the Gender Unit of the order to give up the infant to the Child Protection Unit of the Ministry of Youth and Social Development of Lagos State.

An assertion by the representative of the police order, Ademuyiwa Adejobi, states that the Commissioner of Police has communicated his aim to examine with the Minsitry of Youth and Social Development on the cycles of receiving the young man straightaway.
