Cross River State lead representative, Ben Ayade, dumps the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Ayade was governor on the foundation of the PDP in 2015, and reappointed for a second term two years prior.
He was likewise chosen representative in 2011 for his single term in the upper administrative office of the National Assembly, additionally on the foundation of the PDP.

The two players have gloated in the media that lead representatives and high positioning public authorities on the opposite side are anxious to switch loyalties, a typical pattern that accepts beeaking point in front of general decisions.
