Former Presidential Aspirant Dele Momodu Joins PDP

Momodu explains he’ll assist the PDP rescue Nigeria from APC’s control.

Media guru, publisher and former presidential aspirant, Dele Momodu, has returned to partisan politics, announcing that he’s joined the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) on Friday, October 29, 2021.

The Ovation publisher said he consulted widely before making his move, acclaiming his new party as the only one that can rescue Nigeria from the incumbent Federal Government controlled by the All Progressives Congress (APC).

He noted that Nigeria has experienced a dangerous and disastrous drift under the President Muhammadu Buhari-led administration over the past six years.

Momodu said the APC leadership has weakened national unity, security, economic prosperity, educational advancement, social infrastructure, and moral values.

“It is deeply saddening and regrettable that some of the biggest and landmark achievements recorded under the PDP administration have been diluted, wasted, or diminished by the present APC government,” he said.

Momodu was the presidential candidate of the National Conscience Party (NCP) in the 2011 presidential election and ended up with just over 26,000 votes.
