Beyonce and Jay Z’s girl Blue Ivy has quite recently won her first Grammy award at the youthful age of nine. Accurate Gist reports.

She’s one of the beneficiaries of the Best Music Video prize for her featuring position in her mum’s Brown Skin Girl music video, a smashing hit record, she made with SAINt JHN and StarBoy’s WizKid.

The winner was openly announced at the award ceremony that was held in Los Angeles

Sharing the news on Twitter, the Recording Academy’s official account wrote: “Congrats Best Music Video winner – ‘BROWN SKIN GIRL’ @Beyonce #BlueIvy @wizkidayo Sparkles #GRAMMYs.”

The track was essential for Beyonce’s Lion King collection, The Gift, and even incorporates a stanza by Blue, who shows up in the video close by her celebrated mum.

Blue being named as a featured lyrical performer on the musical track implies that she has become perhaps the youngest at any point to win a Grammy.

She’s beaten simply by The Peasall Sisters member Leah, who was seven when she recorded their soundtrack for O Brother, Where Art Thou? She was eight when she won a Best Album Grammy with her siblings.
