Two people have been feared dead after a gas blast which happened at Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library (OOPL) in Abeokuta, Ogun State.
Vanguard announced that it happened around 11am at the Marque event centre inside the Presidential Library when technicians were filling up gas once again into the air conditioning system (AC).

It was further found out that currently, safety officers at the door are turning individuals back. Just the truck of the State Fire Service and a few authorities were permitted into the premises.
“Two individuals have effectively been affirmed dead, ” a laborer at OOPL revealed to Daily Trust, as the two entryways driving into OOPL were closed when their journalist visited.

Last Wednesday, three people, including a baby, were scorched to death in a gas eruption that happened in Oke-Egunyan, along NTA Road in Abeokuta. A repairperson was refilling the gas of a bad cooling system when the occurrence happened.
Scarcely 24 hours after the occurrence, another gas blast happened on Mercy Road, Panseke, Abeokuta, where a technician, Sanya Shonde, was harmed, prompting the removal of his leg.
