President of The United States of America, Donald Trump told supporters that he would never relinquish the 2020 presidential election to President-elect Joe Biden as Congress assembled to affirm the Democrat’s victory.
Devoted protesters of President Trump stormed the Capitol on Wednesday, pausing the Congress’s scoring of the electoral votes to confirm President-elect Joseph R. Biden Jr.’s triumph as the police withdrew legislators from the building.
“The media is the biggest problem we have,” Trump said as he addressed a mammoth crowd of over ten thousand in the National Mall at the “Save America” rally. He once again erroneously accused “the media” of helping to “rig” the election results in favor of his Democratic antagonist, President-elect Joe Biden.
“We will never give up. We will never concede,” Trump said. The rally crowd at times chanted “USA! USA! USA!” After Trump made use of the indecent slang, the chant shifted to “Bullsh*t! Bullsh#t! Bullsh@t!”
He impelled Vice President Mike Pence to help reverse Joe Biden’s victory in the November election when Congress sits later to confirm the Electoral College votes.
But Mr Pence later flouted the president’s call, saying “he does not have the power to discard electoral votes”.
