“We are in talks” – NCF spokesman, Dr. Yinusa Tanko speaks on possible merger between Peter Obi and Rabiu Kwankwaso [Video]

Presidential contenders from several political parties, including Peter Obi, Rabiu Kwankwaso, and Omoyele Sowore, have been asked to unify ahead of the 2023 elections in order to topple the incumbent All Progressives Congress (APC).

However, in response to these submissions, National Consultative Forum (NCF) spokesperson, Dr. Yinusa Tanko, on Sunday gave stakeholders reason to be optimistic about the possibility of a merger between Labour Party Presidential candidate Peter Obi and New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) presidential candidate ENGR. Rabiu Kwankwaso.

Tanko stated in an interview with Arise TV that Obi and Kwankwaso, both of whom have deep roots in the country’s southern and northern regions, must work together.

Surprisingly, the NCF spokesman stated that if their negotiations succeed, Nigerians can anticipate more from them.
