Dani Alves aims dig at Ole Gunnar Solskjaer over ‘world class’ Brazil star Fred

Fred has been vigorously reprimanded this season

Barcelona legend Dani Alves says that Brazil midfielder Fred is world class and his form for Manchester United is the shortcoming of the club or Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

Fred, 28, joined United from Shakhtar Donetsk for £52m in 2018 under Jose Mourinho and his first season at the club was very troublesome, with the midfielder disappointing.

The Brazilian has regardless turned into a backbone under Solskjaer and seems to have the Norwegian’s trust.

Be that as it may, Fred’s form this season has plunged which is in opposition to the performance he places in for his national team Brazil.

Fred plays in a more advanced role for the Brazilian National Team.

Fred is frequently played in a more advanced position for Brazil and Alves accepts his form at Old Trafford isn’t the midfielder’s issue, but the club’s or alternately Solskjaer’s.

‘Every Brazilian becomes world class when wearing the national team jersey,’ said Alves.

‘I hear so many people complaining about Fred. But when he plays for Brazil he is better than all of their midfielders.

‘The problem is the club or coach, not Fred.’

Fred was missing for Saturday’s 4-2 loss to Leicester due to his association with Brazil over the international break.

The midfielder is relied upon to be reestablished to the firing line up for Champions League’s match against Atalanta.

Manchester United need each of the three points against the Serie A side after losing Young Boys on matchday one.
