Job Description
As a Packager, you will be responsible for various tasks related to the packaging process in a cold/refrigerated work setting. Your primary duties will include:
- Transporting raw materials, finished products, and equipment throughout the plant manually or using powered equipment
- Checking and weighing materials and products
- Sorting, packing, crating, and packaging materials and products
- Performing other laboring and elemental activities
- Cleaning machines and immediate work areas
- Checking products for quality control
In addition to these tasks, you will need to have food safety/handling skills to ensure hygiene and sanitation practices conform to policies and regulations.

Education and Experience
To be considered for this position, you do not need a formal degree, certificate, or diploma. However, prior experience in a similar role is preferred. Ideally, you should have at least 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a packaging company, factory, or plant setting.
Work Conditions and Physical Requirements
This role requires you to work in a fast-paced environment and perform repetitive tasks. You will also be handling heavy loads, so physical strength and stamina are essential. Additionally, you should have good manual dexterity, attention to detail, and hand-eye coordination. The ability to stand for extended periods is necessary, as well as the capability to handle weights of up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
