The applications are now open to apply for the Government of Brunei Darussalam Scholarships 2023/24. The Brunei Government Scholarship 2023 is Fully Funded by the Foreign Affairs of Brunei. The Scholarship is aimed at Diploma, Undergraduate Degree, and Postgraduate Master’s Degree Programs. The Brunei Govt Scholarship is open to all applicants from all around the world. You can apply without IELTS Test. If you have English Language Proficiency Proof from your Previous University. If you have completed your Previous Degree program from the English Medium Institute.
Each year the Brunei Govt awards approximately 300 Scholarships. All the expenses will be covered by the Brunei Government. There is No Application Fee Charged. The academic year commences in July/August 2023. The Scholarship is available in all study Fields. Under this Scholarship, five Brunei Universities are Participating. - Diploma: 3 Years
- Undergraduate Degree: 4 Years Full Time
- Master’s Degree: 12 Months, 24 Months
Financial Benefits
The Brunei Darussalam Government Scholarship 2023/24 is a Fully Funded Scholarship.
It will cover:
- Tuition Fee Exemption
- An Economy Class Round Air Ticket to/from Brunei Darussalam
- A Monthly personal Allowance of BND$500.00
- An Annual Book Allowance of BND$600.00
- Accommodation
- Baggage Allowance
- Comprehensive Insurance Cover
Additionally:
- BND$250.00 to a country within the ASEAN region
- BND$500.00 to a country outside the ASEAN region

This is the fifth new university added this year.
Eligibility Criteria
- Applications are open to citizens of any country.
- Between the ages of 18-25 for Undergraduate and Diploma programs.
- Must not exceed the age of 35 for Postgraduate Master’s Degree programs.
- NOT eligible to Brunei Darussalam Permanent Residents.
Required Documents
Documents to be uploaded with the application form:
- Recent Passport Size photograph
- Certified true copies of academic qualifications and other supporting documents (i.e. certificates, testimonials, transcripts).
- English Translation of Documents that are not in English
- Copies of Birth Certificate and Passport.
- References and recommendations from referees.
